Allergies flare up after it rains?
It happens to many, rain comes and refreshes your garden and makes everything look revived, and then makes you miserable with allergies for a few days. But it’s not spring yet, what gives?
A possible cause for your allergies after rain
For some people, mold spores can actually cause more of an allergic effect than pollen can. It’s true! An easy step to prevent allergic reactions and problems with asthma is to make sure you have medications on hand, while keeping an eye on the weather. If a rain storm is coming, be prepared to have these medications available, stay indoors and run a HEPA filter if possible. Though this may not completely prevent allergies from the weather, they are simple steps to reduce the pollen and mold spores from getting in your home.
